PROGRAMMING VIRGIN MOBILE PHONES MANUALLY AND OTA (Over The Air).
Go here: And it will show you how to program each model. http://web.virginmobileusa.com/help/phones/VM8500
Click on the model number. (In this case the Audiovox 8500.) Then click on "Program Your Phone". Then click on "How do I program my phone?"
The last one will show you the step by step method of doing so. Generally, the older models require manual programming while the latest ones do what appears to be OTA/Over The Air activation similar to what Verizon prepaid phones do.

MPT is enabled which disables usb access. THIS WILL ERASE YOUR PHONE INCLUDING MEID, MSID and MSN - Virgin Mobile will be unable to help you reset the MEID and your phone will no longer work to receive services.
To attempt bypass: Hold down ALL buttons. Power on. It works by enabling usb port. Flashing, modding can be attempted.

FREE WAP TRICK ON VMOBILE PHONES
Type http://wap3.vmobl.com:8000/ad-wrapper/?http://xxxxxxxxx in your phone browser x for the website you want to visit.
A way to automaticaly apply the link so so you don't have to do it after each click:
Just make a web page that has a text box. You enter where you want to go in there and make it add "http://wap3.vmobl.com:8000/ad-wrapper/?http://" before what ever you typed in. Click "ok" and have it load the new url.
Then make that page your default homepage.
Edit: Instead of going back to the homepage for each url, you should be able to program it like a web proxy. You'd get a small frame at the top where the site can constantly add the url before anything you click.
And Virgin Mobile offers Opera for all of its web capable phones for a free download. Opera mini speeds up your web surfing experience.
