Summary

The Atom has similar specifications to the HTC Magician but is a fraction smaller in length and also includes

  • 802.11b WiFi (WEP/WPA/TLS)
  • FM radio
  • Stereo speakers
  • Stereo headphone support over Bluetooth
  • Equaliser
  • Windows Mobile 5
  • 2MP camera and a flash.
  • EDGE

Known Issues

  • Speed - Ensure you have the 2006 or later ROM, even then a little slower than the Mini thanks to WM5
  • Freezing in sleep - Probably due to 3rd party overclocking software
  • Windows and media hard key mapping - no solution (yet)
  • Sprite Backup crashes - Deselect the backup Email option
