Why won't Multimedia Studio work on my Verizon flashed RAZR?

For Firmware .02 Verizon V3c RAZR (without seem editing)

This problem occurs when the Multimedia Studio (MMS) icon appears to be greyed out. First of all MMS supposedly does not work on Verizon firmware .03 so, it is necessary to have firmware .02 on your phone for the use of MMS. (To check your firmware on your phone, go to Tools>System>Device Info>Other Information>S/W Version. The numbers correlate to the last two digits listed.) If you desire .02, go here Here

A simple and quick fix to this problem so that you can backup your photos and videos is to change the type of device in use. On the MPT software, go to Setup>General Setup. Click on the "Communication tab and select "change modem." Hit "next" twice and put a checkmark in the box box labeled "Do not automatically detect the driver. Select from a list." Now select "Motorola CDMA Phone" and choose the "V3cm" under the "device model" column. Hit "next" and finish up the process. Restart MPT just incase. Multimedia Studio should now appear.

--Once again, this instruction set IS NOT for Verizon firmware .03

--There are also other ways to get MPT to work. (e.g. "Motorola GSM" which enables transfer, but will mess up synchronizations as it writes SIM card files. The V3c doesnt HAVE a SIM card!)

For Firmware .03 Verizon V3c RAZR

MMS Transfer can be enabled, but a SEEM edit must be performed.

Once the edit is performed, MPT version 4.04b can be slightly modified to automatically detect the V3c with MMS working perfectly.

Where may I find the info to perform the above? Help anyone. Thanks
