Offset 37 - bit 2 off. When using Yagers MP. This will allow the external backlight to initially come on, then turn off. Like normal. Been tested. Make sure seem edit listed below is set to on (1). -Player911
offset 1D - bit 0: External LCD Backlight when flip closed (in P2kAE it is described as FULL_FLIP_AVAIBLE),
-when 0: lights up when flip closed, stays off on incoming SMS, stays off on flip closed while changing ringstyles via side buttons, saves battery;
-when 1: (aka normal mode) lights up when flip is closed, comes on when message is recieved, comes on with track change

in seem 004а_0001 at offset 27 type 00, in seem 0061_0001 type /a/mobile/system/cl.gif in Unicode format (in hex it will look like 00 2f 00 61 00 2f 00 6d 00 6f 00 62 00 69 00 6c, and in text it will be like that: ./.a./.m.o.b.i.l.e./.s.y.s.t.e.m./.c.l...g.i.f....) and the do the same in seem 0062_0001. Place picture (gif format)with name cl.gif in /a/mobile/system and dimensions 96x80 pixels
V635 has no "deletion confirmation":
when deleting pics, video etc. to enable it edit seem 0032_0001: offset 54 - bit 5: Delete Confirmation (1 on, 0 off)
Voicemail txt msg fix:
offset 02 - bit 1: BLOCKS THESE FEATURES: Call barring, Call transfer, Info Services, do not read VM number from SIM, Voicemail ^@ text messages, Multi-Line Support, My Network List, Manual Network Search (1 on, 0 off - set to 0 to UNBLOCK these features) some of these features may be SIM dependant anyway, so activating it on your phone may not actually allow you to use it bit 4: ^@ and _@ VM Indicator SMS Msgs (1 off, 0 on) (**DOES NOT WORK RELIABLY**)
Quicker Camera:
If you're shooting a lot of pictures or videoclips with your v635, you probably noticed how many steps you have to go through before you actually save it (such as save where, which location, etc). It becomes extremely annoying, and slows down the system. Also your fingers become tired of constant clicking in confirmation screens. So, let's take P2k Advanced Editor (download from...) Open menu 'Seem32 Functions'-->Load from phone-->within loaded settings search for MULTIMEDIA_AFTER_CAPTURE_MENU_AVAILABLE-->check the checkbox-->Save Seem32 on your disk and load it back to the phone using any p2k app, such as p2kTools-->Restart the phone.
The conclusion: Camera is working much faster. Click on the large joystick button, and the shot is made. Click it one more time, and it is saved without going through unneccessary prompts. Double click it, and your photo is instantly saved! Your thumb is where it is supposed to be - you'll understand once you try it.
Most Phones come stock with 24R firmware. Before you flash to any different firmware, you must do a "6 series" flash. This means flash with a 6CR, 6DR, 6FR reflash or monster pack. After that you may freely try 88R or 90R. Going direct from 24R to 88R or 90R has been known to give problems!

About flashing (from here): about flashes again (as not everyone understand what to do): if you have 24 firmware, and want to upgrade to something newer, the first you should do is to flash 6FR MONSTERPACK!!! (it is bootloader issues, you SHOULD do this first) and then you can freely go to 88R (the only one thing can happen when you flashed to 6fr, a 'blinking keypad' issue, if you got it, DON'T panic, just remove your battery for a minute-two, insert your charger, insert your battery, wait a minute, power up phone, repeat if needed, it should be ok after 1-2 tries). If you still not sure, make backup by Random's FlashBackup and don't be afraid, if you got fullbackup it is almost impossibly to kill your phone, proven many times...
