Tutorial: How to get your Amp'd prepaid balance Expiration date!
From HowardForums Wiki
NOTE: I moved the original information to the end of this section, because the number does not work for Amp'd phones anymore. It has been discovered, most likely by Verizon, and all Amp'd numbers have been removed.
However, no need to guess your expiration date; use this calculator:
http://timeanddate.com/date/dateadd.html
Enter the date you recharge minutes, then add 60 days & click calculate. Just remember to add more time at least the day BEFORE the date given, as minutes do indeed expire at 12:01 A.M. (midnight) on the 60th day. So if your expiration date is March 24th, you need to add minutes on or before midnight March 23rd. --gbf999--
Additional clarification about using recharge cards:
When you buy a recharge card (say from prepaidwireless.com) and recharge, the expiry date is 60 days from the RECHARGE, not the card purchase date, which is good news. I wanted to confirm this, so I purchased the recharge card on 6th feb, and recharged today(9 feb). It says new balance expiring on 10 April. --- by foobart -----
Original content below:
For those of you who were wondering how to find out the date your prepaid account expires, I found this toll-free number to call. It is a Verizon Wireless automated account info line, but it works when you enter your Ampd phone number, too!
The number is 1-888-294-6804.
I tried it with my Ampd prepaid number, and the date given was correct.
Thanks go to Lil Talker, who found out the number, to use with Page Plus. It seems to work with other Verizon-based MVNOs too. A word of warning, you should refill your account by the day BEFORE the one given. The account may expire at the BEGINNING (12:01 AM) of the date given. **Contributed by mframe
