Create a personalized text address!
What to do:
- Click the above link and go to www.vtext.com.
- Create a new account.
- Log in using your Amp'd Mobile phone number and your newly created password.
- Look on the top bar and click My TXT.
- Scroll down to My Nickname.
- Click EDIT.
- Enter your new Wireless Nickname.
- Click SAVE.
- Congratulations! You're done! Now people can send a TXT or PIX/FLIX message to your phone using an easy to remember nickname instead of having to remember your phone number. You now have a TXT handle of yourname@vtext.com
Check out some of the other cool features here too. Text to landline looks particulary interesting, as does the Calendar feature to TXT you when important dates arrive. For instance when it's time to renew your prepaid account, your spouse or significant others b-day/anniversary/etc, or that important sales meeting coming up. The calendar looks like something every salesperson could use!
