Tutorial: How to convert videos for playback on the Hollywood and Razr

I found a perfect alternative for those who want good quality video on their phone.

  1. Download the 3GP Converter Here
  2. Run setup.exe and select English instead of Japanese, then from the list, select '3GPP+AAC General Setting with Xvid Encoder'.
  3. Run 3GP_Converter.exe and choose either 'QCIF High Quality 15fps' with normal or high quality; high quality looks slightly better, and has a bigger filesize.

They both run fine, they look exactly like the source file only with a smaller resolution and a lower framerate. Make sure you choose QCIF and not QVGA. QVGA will freeze your phone any time you try to play on the the videos. There seems to be no time lag, as tested with the My Humps music video on both qualities.
