Features
This was the first RAZR widely available to Verizon customers and comes in a standard "gun metal" gray color or magenta. It features a clamshell design, dual color screens, Bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel built-in camera with picture messaging, and 32 MB of built-in flash memory available to the user for storing pictures, movies, games, etc.
[edit]
Pros
- Clean and compact design
- Vibrant, high-resolution main screen
- Long battery life
- Hefty amount of built-in memory
- Decent camera (for a phone)
- Uses standard, inexpensive mini-USB cable for PC and Mac connectivity
- Signal strength is strong despite having no external antenna
[edit]
Cons
- Outer screen is black unless a button is pressed, making it slightly annoying to quickly check the time
- No slot to add a flash memory card, limiting memory to the 32MB built-in
- Bluetooth and USB file transfer (for music, pics, etc.) to PCs and Macs is disabled completely in certain firmware versions
- iSync for Macintosh does not support calendar syncing
- Transferring games through Bluetooth or USB is highly obnoxious and cumbersome
