iPlus 2.0b NEW RELEASE! for Mac/Windows (released 2008.3.13) Submitted by aviegas on Thu, 03/13/2008 - 15:07.

iPlus is a *fully automatic* tool for setting up your iPhone! For Windows and Mac OS X (intel/PPC)

It will downgrade the bootloader, unlock, jailbreak and activate the iPhone. And even better, it will also install the most important and common packages as well as several fixes, with a custom payload for installing other packages.

Bootloader downgrading uses BL 3.9FakeBlank, so it is fully reversible.

Thanks for the Dev Team for the help with the ramdisk issues that made me revise the unlocking/downgrading scheme and lead to this new version. This should take care of the "Repaid Needed" issues.

What's new in 2.0b

- Unlock/downgrade strategy rework: Now safer than ever!

- New Interface on the iPhone (using iPipe from MCA)

- Fix for the "Repair Needed" problem reported by some users

- iPlus will always reboot twice (and not 2 or 3 times)

- Pass 2 visual feedback. Now users know what is going on

- PC/Mac program will not end until everything is really done

- Support for PPC

- Better error handling

- Empty payloads - just jailbreak

- No need to install libreadline on MacOS X

Thanks to geohot for his gbootloader and bldl serial payload examples, and for being so open (on his blog and in email) about all things iPhone. - Thanks to aCujo for his ideas and his seemingly unlimited cache of iPhones to try stuff out on. - Last but not least, thanks to Gray for his continued exploration of the bootloader and baseband.

If I forgot someone, please let me know!
