How to Install Fonts
In order to replace the stock font on your phone with one you downloaded, simply flash the .shx file to your phone. If you are unsure how to flash your phone, check the Flashing/Flexing section of TheMotoGuide.
- Create a backup of your phone using Flash Backup and turn it into a MonsterPack.
- Find a font that you like a download it (fonts usually come buried in Language Packs).
- Extract the font from the language pack.
- Open the Language Pack in SHXCoDec.
- Make sure that the language pack has a start address of 10F40000 and an end address of 10F7D26B and is part of code group 4.
- Double click on the language pack.
- Click on "Save languagepack" and save it where you can find it easily.
- Open your MonsterPack backup using SHXCoDec.
- Click on code group 4 and then click the button below labled "Replace".
- Navigate to the saved language pack and click Open.
- Click on "Compile SHX" and save the new MonsterPack where you can easily find it.
- Flash your phone with the new MonsterPack using RSD Lite.
