Activation on Boost

The HTC Snap is confirmed working with Boost CDMA.

After activation, talk, SMS and web should work out of the box.

Fixing MMS

To fix MMS for your phone you must be able to edit the registry on your WinMo device.

Change this registry key: "HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\Arcsoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\MMSCSetting\SampleMMSC\MmscURI"

to

"hxxp://mm.myboostmobile.com" (Change the hxxp to http)

SMS repeats

If your SMS messages keep repeating, hard reset your phone after activation.

Other tweaks

  • Make sure your phone is application unlocked
  • Remove service that reverts your changes

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\CMGuardian Flags = 4 (it's a DWORD if it doesn't exist.)

  • Enable Internet Sharing

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing] Extension="" (was "isext.dll")

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing\settings] ForceCellConnection="Sprint PCS" (or maybe just "Sprint")
