Add New Maibox

POP Settings

Shows T-Mobile's POP settings for any mailbox you've configured This is especially use for phone handsets that have built-in email clients but the POP account uses SSL. POP access for Exchange and Lotus Notes servers is also available for Enterprise data plans.

Example:

E-mail Address: someone@nowhere.com
Mail Server (POP3): myemail.t-mobile.com
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): myemail.t-mobile.com
User ID: 2065551212:1
Note: The trailing 1 in 2065551515:1 refers to the mailbox that was setup first.
The username for the second mailbox would be 2065551212:2, the third 2065551212:3 and so on.
General

General settings for already configured mailbox.

Advanced

Advanced settings for already configured mailbox, including mail server, server type, port, timeout and SSL.

The outgoing server is myemail.t-mobile.com

The outgoing username is your 10 digit phone number followed by a colon and the number of the mailbox, most often the number 1. Ex. 7777777777:1

The outgoing password is the password on the email account you are using.

The incoming port is 110 and the outgoing port is 25.

Alerts

Allows you setup alerts for email recieved in any configured mailbox. Alerts can be as broad or narrow as the user defines. Additionally allows for E-mail Triggers to be set for supported phones such as the HP iPAQ h6315 Pocket PC Phone.

Alerts can be globally enable or disabled from this page.

E-mail Triggers

T-mobile's notation for E-mail triggers. If your phone has My E-mail Triggers enabled, then these Alerts will silently trigger your phone to automatically retrieve the new e-mail message into your phone's e-mail Inbox. The Alerts will not appear in your SMS Inbox.

Add Alerts

Alert conditions are as follows:

  • Alerts can be defined by all mailboxes or individually.
  • Alert triggers can be set for:
    • New Mail arrives
    • A high-priority mail arrives
    • "From" field contains *
    • "Subject" field contains *
    • "To" field contains *
    • "CC" field contains *

Alert Limitations:

  • Alert feilds are limited to 255 characters.
  • Multple "From" seperated by a semi-colon.
  • '"To" field contains' and '"Cc" field contains' do not apply to Exchange, OWA, Domino or Notes.
    • Additional if these fields are use alerts will be sent for all inbox mail.

Options

This only option here is to specify timezone.
